Introduction To My Beer Blog

Hi,

This is Sencha. I'm a Singaporean who like to travel and enjoy new culinary experiences, including drinking.

Fortunately, my current employment has also brought to countries I never dream I'll visit and tasted beers in countries where I never expected this beverage to be legalized.

I don't profess to love beer but once in a while, I do enjoy a couple of mugs. Neither can I hold my beer well. At this time of writing, 4 mugs of beer is all it takes to take me down. I hope I can improve my beer limit in time.

Ideas for this blog was generated during a flight from Beirut to Prague via Istanbul during a business trip. That was before I was told that the Czech capital, at that time, is the beer drinking capital of the world then, i.e. highest beer consumption per capita (source).

The reasons why I started this blog are simple:

  • Beer is one of the oldest beverage in the world as well as the most popular.

  • Almost every country I have visited brew their own local beer.

  • Beer is cheaper.

  • Save for some personal evaluation and description, I don't want to or know how to judge each beer I've drank according to any review standards.

This blog is just about remembering where I've been and the beers that I've tasted.

    Cheers!
